I am an associate professor in Operations, Technology, and Information Management at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. I am also the former director of the Business Simulation Laboratory. My research focuses primarily on behavioral supply chains and operations management, which includes topics like procurement, inventory, contracting, and services. I am also interested identifying ways in which behavioral and machine-learning methodologies can be jointly applied, such as human-algorithm interactions.
My research has been published in Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management. I am an Associate Editor at Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Decision Sciences. Prior to joining Cornell, I worked in different operations management roles and was also an economic development consultant. I earned a BA in economics from Colgate University, an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University, and a PhD in supply chain management also from the Pennsylvania State University.
